Need some help in deciding Toshiba or Vaio

Mar 1, 2010 10:15PM PST

Im pretty new to the whole laptop thing, Ive been doing some research and have been turned off to HP's and Dell's do to reviews. I've came down to a Toshiba Satellite or the new Vaio E series that will be coming out this week.. The only major difference is the price between the two, and the color. Im partial to the Vaio because its hot pink, Im just not a fan of the $800 price tag. I wont be doing to much with it, besides basic internet, music, and some light photoshop.

The Toshiba would be my pick....

I've had good experiences with Toshiba laptops over the years and their new products still seem to be durable and built for the long haul. They tend to be a bit heavier and thicker than than some competing models, but if you're okay with the dimensions, the Toshiba is a solid choice!

Toshiba all the way. I guess the Sony screen is 15.5 and Toshiba is 16. Battery life is what would put Toshiba over the top with a 12 cell battery and 6 .5 hours.
