make sure your video card can output DVI-D dual link.
I've been looking at purchasing a 30" LCD monitor, the SAMSUNG SyncMaster 305T. It's about in the price range that I'm looking but I'm being told that it can't reach it's rated screen resolution of 2560 X 1600, because it has a single DVI-D Dual Link connection. Is this true? What is the difference between a DVI-D dual link cable and the standard dual DVI connections used on 30 inch monitors such as the Dells?
