by jeniseaaron / May 17, 2009 4:50 PM PDT

i am a camcorder novice and will only need to use it for like home videos, etc. i was considering buying the panasonic sdr-s7 but then i saw the panasonic sdr-s26. now i am a student so my budget is somewhat limited. is the sdr-s26 such a vast improvement that you think i should save up towards it or will the sdr-s7 suit me fine?

thanks for your advice.

ps- i am nto looking to do any fancy editing and i understand the problems that will occur in low light/night. thanks.

thanks for your reply. sorry i am really very very new to this. about the optical stabilization advantage, does it make a huge difference when recording? i think i have fairly steady hands lol but then again i am not sure how sensitive camcorders are to this kind of thing.

since the s7

since the s7 only has 10x zoom i dont think optical is needed. with the 70x zoom from the s26, its required, and does a great job

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
