Need second opinion on Netcraft toolbar

by Gakada / March 2, 2006 5:08 PM PST

My friend recommend me to use netcraft toolbar, which one of the features is to catch phishing.

Before trying it, I need to know if the utility is clean from malware/spyware etc.

Thank you for any information...

It's great...

It's a great add-on for both Internet Explorer and Firefox, and is completely malware-free. If you want, you can click here for a previous thread on it. While you're at it, I'd also highly recommend the add-on SiteAdvisor, which is also available for both IE and Firefox. It rates sites based on the amount of spam they send, the sites they link to, the downloads they offer, and if they use pop-ups. Note only does it report the site you are currently viewing, but almost instantaneously highlyights the search results from Google, Yahoo, and MSN, indicating which are safe to go to. For a full review you can click here.

Hope this helps,

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
