Need script to submit a form designed in dreamweaver

by dominiquedbd / May 3, 2005 9:08 AM PDT

I would really need your help to locate a script I could use to make a form designed in Dreamweaver able to send the information to the server and then process the data and send it to me as an email>>>Frontpage used to do that on the fly and now that I tried to use dreamweaver I am facing the problem to find a script to associate with the submit button to do the trick>> I understand that usually a CGI SCRIPT on the server shoud do it >> but saddly My server guy does not propose one to me ...I guess I am on my own to find one>> I KNOW THE SOLUTION WOULD BE TO FIND ANOTHER WEB HOSTING PLACE ,... BUT THE GUY IS NICE AND I WANT TO GIVE HIM THE BUSINESS ...ALTHOUGH HE IS NOT HELPING ME....I should have more skills programming...and I plan to learn it..but in the meantime ...I do need to get these forms going...is there anyone able to give me one?? or give me a place or a book name to get the job done>???thanks anyway...

Sorry ...forgot to tell you that the server can handle PHP, ASP and Perl SCRIPTS...Still would love to hear from someone..Why is that Dreamweaver does not provide script when frontpage does,?? You would think that the Macromedia corp would provide a complete package rather than let their users wander in lost land looking for a script??
