There is one camera that is a good replacement for the Konica Minolta Z20.
All the same features plus 7.1 megapixel and 10X optical zoom.
Fujifilm S700/S5700 (It is sold under both model numbers)
It has been getting good reports from owners.
And it sells for under $200.
I purchased a Konica-Minolta Dimage Z20 about 2-1/2 years ago. It has 5 megapixels and an 8x optical zoom. I love(d) this camera. But last August, on a trip to Hawaii, most of my pictures looked out of focus when downloaded to my computer. I had similar problems this past weekend on a trip along the Columbia Gorge. Most of the pictures were out of focus, though a few came out OK. I can still use the Macro mode and get nice shots, if taking a closeup. According to Sony, who bought out Konica-Minolta, i can send the camera in for $111 and get it repaired. Most of the people I've talked to think that isn't worth it and I should just buy a new one.
I'm not really looking for a point and shoot, but I'd like a camera with similar features. Anybody know of a good replacement?
