Need Recommendation on Camcorder

Mar 14, 2006 8:34AM PST

With all the various models of cameras I am starting to get confused about which one I should get. Maybe somebody has a good recommendation?

I need a camera that is as close to pro as I can get without being as large. I am mostly interested in a small camera that shoots good in low light situations. Price isn't the main object. I need something with OIS and am also interesting in 16:9.

I am looking at the Panasonic PV GS500 but I hear that Sony models are better in low light situations.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!

has a low light and super low light setting. I guess the best way to find out is to demo the models that interest you.
