Of mice and men

I've never used a rechargable mouse but I've had several battery opperated mice. I'm guessing that just like phones a rechargable unit will have it's own limitations. The first time you use it you will probably want to charge it for a full day to ensure you hit it's capacity. Then you'll want to leave it off the charger for a day or two and only charge it again when it's needed. This avoids a patterned memory in the storage battery which will extend it's life.

As for regular battery powered mice I know different brands do better than others. For instance my Microsoft mouse burns through batteries like candy while my Logitech mouse has only needed a replacement once in the last year.
