Question

Need opinion about computer build

Dec 1, 2011 4:31AM PST

I have been looking into getting a new computer for a relative for Christmas and I know the need something a little more along the lines of a gaming PC but I don't know exactly what type of games they play. I do know they have played stuff like Dead or Alive and Call of Duty, I just want to make sure I get something that will support games like that. This is a tentative build I made at cyberpowerpc.com, I'm trying not to go over $800 for the system build but I know shipping will be a lot on top as well. Any advice about the setup I have or any general suggestions?

Answer
Nice enough system. Who will support it?

While the parts or OK I couldn't find the power supply or who is going to install the OS. I find that folk today are often taken aback that Windows is still not that easy to install properly.

It could have "rails" and one might overpower a rail.

As to the OS, that's nice but is the builder or supplier going to give you an install procedure?
