Question

need opengl help

by metalica11 / June 20, 2012 11:06 AM PDT

Ok, so I have been trying for nearly half a year to solve my opengl issue. I have

Satellite A505-S6965

Windows 7 Ultimate x86

ATI mobility Radeon HD4500 series

Mobile Intel 4 series chipset ( i am assuming the chipset may play into my graphics updating)

I have updated the drivers for my ATI (now amd) graphics , and AMD's site stated that my card is opengl 2.0 compatible but my opengl version will not update, I am hoping someone here can help me.

also not sure, but when I look at my display settings it states that I have a generic pnp monitor.

So what exactly is the issue? You just say there's some issue with OpenGL, but never elaborate on what the OpenGL issue is.

Any chance the maker has an install plan for this OS?

I find it rarely works unless you follow the maker's plan.
