I looked over the manuals and the video card does not appear to be replaceable.

I need a new video card for my hp pavilion zv5000. It has a nvidia 4 440 Go with 64 dedicated, but I need more to run battlefield. I don't know anything about video cards so I need some help. I would like to do it myself if I could, but I don't know anything about pixel pipelines, agp, or anything. I was looking at the nvidia verto 6600. It looks nice and inexpensive. Will it work and what do I need to do to install? Thanks.

I have the exact same laptop and I have just found out the same thing you just did... that the graphics card isn't upgradable... I just bought dreamfall - the longest journey and can't play it.
dang it.
You told me the details I needed to go look at the issue.
http://forums.longestjourney.com/showthread.php?t=2051&highlight=laptop and down the page I see people who have it running on 64MB video cards.

Hey thats not cool. I should charge a forum fee for that. Haha j/k. Really is there nothing I can do?
I don't work hard at this. I neglected to look since I couldn't just click and search on your post of "battlfield 2" If support is important to you on such, take the extra time to get the details and names proper.
Some may flame me on this, but this is all volunteer time.
You could find a "battlfield 2" discussion and see if they had workarounds as found for the other game.
