...why folks need ogg when you already can do MP3 & FLAC(?) Maybe you just have a big library as well.
I currently have an old SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB I got for my birthday several years ago and I love it but the battery life is getting bad and the power button is wearing out.
I'm looking to replace it with something similar that must do the following that my Fuze can do:
Not be apple
support at least mp3, flac, and ogg file extentions
have micro SDHC slot
have a decent user interface/not be laggy
have decent audio precessing ( I already have good ear buds)
Have a user settable EQ
FM recording would be nice
It doesn't need a touch screen or even to play video. I would get a Fuze+ but the interface is apparently annoying and laggy (this would drive me crazy)
The way I use it is it's almost always plugged into my cd player in the car via aux cable and I feel for the buttons, as in I don't need to look at the screen just to see where the next, previous and volume button are.
So far I've narrowed it down to the Samsung YP-R0, and buying another Fuze. The Walman looks nice but I can't confirm that they will play ogg.
thanks!
