Question

Need new graphics card

I have this computer: Newegg.com - CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1072LQ Desktop PC Intel Core i5 655K(3.20GHz) 4GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity ATI Radeon HD 5770 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229196)

The current graphics card overheats, and there are artifacts all over the screen, so I am looking for a newer better graphics card.

Could anyone suggest one that is compatible with this computer and motherboard? Thank you

Let's be clear.

The PCIe slot so far has meant that other PCIe cards will work. It's very very very (keep repeating) rare to find a card that won't work.

The 5770 card isn't that bad but you find gamers will want to improve the cooling as most ready to use machines will suffer from a gamer's use.

Did you try the old trick of leaving the cover off?
