For a camera similar in size to the LZ2, take a look at the Canon A1100IS and the A2100IS.
My Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 just died after four and a half years. I can view my pics on it, but if I try to take a pic I just get a black screen. I loved this camera up until now b/c of it's ease of use and 6x optical zoom. Can anyone recommend a replacement? I am shying away from another Panasonic b/c I feel it should have laster longer than four years, although perhaps that's the average lifespan of technology these days?? Oh, I use the camera for family snapshots and such, so I'd like a camera that can take good photos in an automatic setting -- manual seetings (although nice) aren't as important to me. A photographer I am not. Thanks!
