Need mp3 player that doesn't require Windows XP

Nov 12, 2008 4:01AM PST

I've searched for an mp3 player but all have had Windows XP as minimum system requirement. Can anyone steer me to one that functions with OS's prior to XP?

(I know, I know, just upgrade my pc OS.....not able to do that at the moment.)

It's for Windows 98 and above? You didn't tell what OS, but it supports "others."

My OS is Windows Me.
Problem is all mp3 players I've found list Windows XP or Vista as min. system requirements.

FLOOLA only references iPod's....will it "manage" ANY mp3 player?

windows compatibility

So long as the player supports drag and drop file transfer, the version of Windows shouldn't be an issue. You might have a problem with USB2 support -- but that should only show up as slower file transfers.

FLOOLA (does Windows ME) and any player that connects as a disk drive (hint? MSC mode.)
