need mp3 player recommendation

Dec 11, 2004 4:06PM PST

I am looking for a relatively small mp3 player with at least 4 GB and FM. The iPod mini is great, but it doesn't have FM. I heard that the ZEN mirco has a lot of tech. issues and that they don't recommend jogging with it, while I beleive Apple claims it's okay to jog with an ipod. Can someone please give me some recommedations. Are there any players coming out that I should wait for? Is the Zen Micro really not that bad? Thanks in advance.

u should get the creative zen xtra because it is a very good player says my friends. it is small and u can get a 30 gb for like $200 at J&R Music and Computer World a very good deal. u could also get the 5gb rio carbon because it ios small and has a built in mic for only $193 at Comp-U-Plus Direct.

I bought a zen xtra and I THOROUGHLY recommend the device. Mine is a 30GB device. I have used it with windows explorer, mediasource, MSN store, and WMP10 to download files. All worked flawlessly from my XP SP2 based laptop. I also downloaded new drivers and app software from nomadworld.com. Great device.

jogging

do not jog with ANY hard-drive based mp3 player. Keep all physical activity of a strenous nature confined to a flash-based model.
