I'm looking for help finding some software to meet my needs. Please let me know any suggestions that you have!!
My old school family food packaging business is looking to get out of the dark ages and create a digital system. They currently track everything on paper and its obviously time consuming and error prone. I have a software engineering background and can design a custom database but not with all the FrontEnd friendly features for the below-average computer skilled employees to use.
Since this is a food processing plant there are lots of unique logs/tables that are needed. Off the shelf applications for a small business "store" would not support all of the unique logs needed
Receiving Log, Inventory, Ingredient Mix Log, Food Temp Log, Machines Used Log, Delivery Log, Inspection Log etc
A user at the shop must be able to enter any ingredient (lets say ground pork) and have the system display where that ingredient came from and where it ended up (pulling data from all the example tables above)
Is there any software available that can be easily customizable to link these tables AND provide a very easy to use interface? (aside from building it all in MS Access!)
