Need info please

by pbbt / April 3, 2008 6:32 AM PDT

I'm hoping that once again you wonderful people can help me. I'm back visiting my sister in AZ and she has a newer Mac (10.2.8). I wonder if there are any good free firewalls, anti virus and anti spyware programs for her computer. I see no sign of any of the above and am hoping you can help.

Turn on Little Snitch if you must. Due to the issues Windows users had there is a firewall in this OS but given how this OS works, it's another load on performance with no gain in security.

has finally moved up a little in her OS.

As Bob says, and as we have answered before, your question is normal for a Windows user.

There are currently no Virus's in the real world that affect the Mac.
Malware is basically non-existent
Spyware, Ditto

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
