There are so many caveats that you may as well start with a blank SSD and no HDD to install to. Windows installer will do the partitioning and such for you.
Long story short, bought a laptop with a hdd and ssd, but for some reason the company I bought the laptop from out the os on the hdd. Anyway my hdd fully corrupted so I am going to replace it with a new one and intend to install a new version of Windows on the ssd before my hdd arrives. My question is will I have any issues installing Windows onto my ssd from a usb given the ssd already has some stuff on it (though more than enough room for an os) or will I have to prepare the ssd in any way first, given I currently have no os on my pc?
