Question

Need help with Windows Live Mail

Mar 4, 2013 1:38AM PST

I'm running Windows 7. My email comes through Earthlink, and I download it to Windows Live Mail. Currently, a message has been downloading for many hours. I tried clearing everything from the Earthlink mailbox. I rebooted the computer, and that got rid of the download, but as soon as I opened Windows Live Mail, it started the download again.

How can I get that message out of the pipeline?

Answer
Usually by using the web mail at the ISP.

Earthlink and many others have a web email site (which I can't help with) but you use that to delete an email that is troublesome.

I already went to Earthlink webmail and cleared that mailbox. It didn't help.

Now you know why I don't use the Live apps. Try Thunderbird after you exhaust support or yourself.
