Could somebody tell me if when you purchase a new motherboard with a onboard video installed, do you have to boot from the Com Port first and then install the new AGP CD in order to load drivers before installing the AGP video card in the video slot?
On top of that the Com Port slot on the motherboard is different from the GEForce 400MX card which has same plug as my 17'CRT Monitor. Does this mean that I have to use an adapter plug?
Why is it that manufactures of motherboards don't write very good manuals? Don't they think it's an important part of their product? Apparently not because I have had so many problems with the installation on this particular motherboard...it's ridiculous! If it weren't for the posting here I would've thrown everything in the garbage or out the window at about 130a. It's very frustrating, especially when you've done this several times before and never run into these problems. ERRRRRRGHHH@#$!%$^!
Thanks to everybody that posts questions and answers, you're simply fabulous human beings!
