If you've got an ethernet card.....Access the "Device Manager", click on the + sign next to "Network Adapters", then RIGHT click on the specific adapter device, choose "Properties". Click the "Power Management" tab and remove the selection from "Allow this device to wake the computer from standby".
Hope this helps.

Well, I'm using Vista Ultimate 32-bit with these hardwares
Mainboard: Giga P35-DS3
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6650 2,33 Ghz @ 3,010 Ghz
RAM: 2 Gb G-skill PC2-6400 4-4-4-12 @ 860
VID: nVIDIA 8800GTX
After installing Vista, everything went smoothly, I could easily put my computer into STANDBY and HIBERNATE state. But 3, or 4 days ago, everything went insane. My computer automatically resumes 30 seconds right after I put it into those STATES. I tried to increase the CORE voltage, check the configurations in "Advanced power settings" and even change the CMOS back to default but the problem seemed to be stubborned ![]()
I really need help now, waiting for your suggestion !
