Need help with speakers

by needhelpfast111 / July 3, 2010 12:40 PM PDT

My brother broke the connector/jack on my Insignia Speakers. They were originally $75 (i got them at an outlet for $25 though) and i dont want to just throw $75 speakers away. Is their anything i can do to fix them that wont cost more than $10-$20 range? Here are some pictures to better help understand the situation. As you can see, it is a clean break. I still have the broken connector piece if that helps any:

repair it. If you do it yourself, yes you should be able to do it for under $10; but do you already have the soldering equipments and know how to use them. Why not check into the outlet store again? Never know, you could be lucky.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
