NEED HELP WITH SONY CYBER-SHOT S40 -MAKES WEIRD SOUNDS

i have a sony cyber-shot dsc s40 and whenever i press the power button it makes weird sounds and says access and eventually says turn the power off and on again and beeps. the batteries are fully charged. and i have used theese batteries before. i have no idea what to do. any suggestions are great! thanks

You may have one defective battery.

The only way to find out is to replace the batteries.

If that does not fix the problem, you should contact Sony about getting the camera fixed under warranty.
