Need Help with Samsung 440x 8mm Video Camera

by wildsnowwolf7831 / September 6, 2010 12:09 AM PDT

I would be most grateful if someone could inform me as to where I could get the cable that will connect my Samsung 440X digital Zoom 8mm Video camera to my computer. The model number is VP-L530 Serial number 67CR400996D.
The only cables I have are the ones that connects it to the TV and the power supply unit, however I would like to connect it to the computer as a camera or to down load its contents onto my hard drive. Any help will be highly appreciated.

The VP-530 looks to be a battery.

I could be wrong but this camcorder and many like it did not have a cable to download.

We would connect the video and audio up to some TV card and digitize the content. All this is well discussed so I'll wait till folk post the correct model numbers and a link to their camcorder.
