Question

Need help with pre wired speaker system in my home

Hi, I recently bought a house that came prewired for 2 speakers in the living room. I need help to set it up. I have 2 speakers in the rear of the living room and 2 set of wires coming out of the wall. Any help will be appreciated. I’m sure it’s easy to do but I am a total newbie when it comes to wiring speakers.

Answer
Red/black for each speaker

In back of a standard stereo receiver there will be separate L/R speaker connections, each with one red and one black. Hook these up by either wrapping the exposed copper wire around the posts, or use banana plugs. I will try to send a link for reference...
