Need help with pc BIG problem...

Oct 9, 2015 9:36AM PDT

Hi guys. Pc have a problem. I have a Toshiba Sattelite a660-12x and a few days ago, after installing windows10, the network wouldnt enable. I tried everything, bios default settings, cmd commands to enable it, so many things... then I took it to an informatic shop, so they could fix my pc. Well, they told me it was windows10 that was the problem and we had to downgrade to 7 again (the problem wasnt the wlan hardware cause they say they experience with another ano and same result). So I did. Same result of network not enabling. Then, I took pc over the shop again and one they later, they had fix the problem. Wireless is good again. Now, the problem is that after I use the pc a while, it just disconnects the internet (and the network button in windows bar stays on!), and if I go to network and sharing center, it doesnt open it, and lags the pc. Even the usb ports dont work after that. I can't shutdown the pc afterwards because it wont shutdown. It just says "Shutting down", or something and don't power off.
I installed drivers, format the pc, everything. What could the problem be? PLEASE, help me.

Since a factory installed OS failed.

This is a failed laptop. Use the warranty next.

The stock OS as supplied will work.

If not it's either pilot error (forgot to turn on WiFi is common) or failed hardware.

When it gets like that, I can't go to device manager... But otherwise, when not like that, there is none.

Was this happening

To use the original restore media from the manufacturer , if you don't have it you may be able to purchase it from Toshiba

A lot of folks have reported problems with the downgrade.

It's not clear to me exactly how you got back to Windows 7, but I saw where you reverted back to 7 from 10, then took it to a shop where they fixed it. So it's not at obvious to me that what you ended up with was the original factory install. I doubt that you did, so as has been suggested, you should do what is needed to get back to that, assuming you didn't wait more than 30 days after going to 10. The reason being that after 30 days on 10, MS will invalidate your Windows 7 license so that you can't go back to it.

likely the shop loaded a generic copy of windows
Oct 9, 2015 12:33PM PDT

and didn't get all the computer specific drivers for it loaded.

Generic I dont know, but

I installed all drivers myself

But..

The problem started before the downgrade..

Have you tried connecting the computer directly to the modem/router via ethernet cable ?
Maybe you can use it than to get things done
Just sayin'
