Need help with my new Creative Muvo N200

Mar 9, 2005 10:20AM PST

I may just be computer illiterate, but I need help. It seems the instruction booklet that came with my Muvo N200 is a little bit lacking. I installed the software as it instructed, hooked up the player to the USB port. After correcting the USB drivers (they read that they are running correctly), I still don't think my computer is reading the player as a removable drive. In My Computer, the N200 icon is there, but when I double click on it to open Muvo N200 Media explorer, it says there is no device connected.

I have e-mailed Creative, but I thought posting here might get me a faster answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for replying. I actually called Creative's customer support today and they had me "clean boot," my computer. I can use the player when it's in "clean," mode, and it recognizes the player as a removable drive. But, they didn't really tell me if that's what I have to do ALL the time now.
