Question

Need help with Malware/Spyware :(

I recently missclicked and opened an exe file I unintentionally downloaded called "MP3FIL". Now every time i turn my PC on this program pops up and I have to end the process through task manager to close it. I've tried finding the .exe file by right clicking and selecting "show in folder" in the task manager which takes me to the "temp" folder in %appdata%. I removed everything in this folder but whenever i restart my computer, it all comes back and the window opens again.

So far its not harmful, just a nuisance.

Has anyone heard of or seen this before? I couldn't find anything on it with a Google search.

Start>control panel>programs and features.
If it shows up on the list you might be able to uninstall the thing.

system restore

you can try doing a system restore to a restore point prior to the malware.
