need help with laptop please

hello everyone


I have a toshiba laptop G15-AV501 I recently dropped it about 1 foot off my floor it's rug carpet and now my laptop turns on but won't totally start up it goes to where it says intel then it goes to a black screen and in the uper left corner it has _ something like that blinking it will not start up fully and the screen has green lines through it about 3-4 of them im wondering what's wrong with it if it could be the screen or the motherboard please respond as soon as possible thank you for all of your help everyone

It won't matter which part it is since either part and the repair bill can exceed that new laptop you might see next friday. I see a core 2 duo for 399 at a few places so that's less than the usual LCD or motherboard replacement cost.

Do the math. Some can't bear to part with a laptop but I do the math and let that decide.

yeah but this is a very nice laptop for the parts being deffective lmfao.....seriously it's the nice'st laptop ive ever had still looks brand new bought it back in 05 or 06

and can you belieave I paid over 2400 for this laptop?ive been doing re-search though it looks like toshiba said the motherboards were deffective in this model and 1 other model it says they will repair it for free even without warranty I tested it hooked up to another monitor it still looks the same with green lines down it and everything so im gonna see what I can do about getting the motherboard re-placed for free

everyone please help me figure this out ive been doing more re-search on the internet about the G15-AV501 toshiba laptop it seems to be back in 2005-2006 people were getting re-place ments of any choice laptop they want or getting it fixed for free without any warranty because toshiba posted out a deffective motherboard anyone else please do help in more re-search about this topic thank you all again.
