Question

Need help with home theater organizatoin

Mar 27, 2018 4:20AM PDT

Hey guys,

I have come to the decision to make my own home theater in the spare room I have. However, I don't know where to start. I need some advice on the equipment, i.e. which elements are the best to use for the best quality of sound and image. Also, this may not be the place to ask, but I would also like to somewhat "hide" the equipment when not in use.

Thank you guys in advance!

It’s a broad topic, better handled there. Feel free to ask if you can’t find it via google.

Great suggestion.

Hi Pepe7,

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I just wanted some of your experiences. I will ask for the equipment there, but could you or any of you guys share your experiences, if you have any?

thanks

You need to be much more specific

Ask more specific/less broad questions and we will gladly jump in Wink

So, specifically I cannot decide on the projectors. I have found a of "best projectors" on themasterswitch.com/best-projectors and I am simply not sure what to do. They all seem good to me.

Also, what about the sound system? I don't even know where to start.

Thanks!

If all are good, buy the cheapest one. Why not?

Also please realize how such affiliate sites work. They don't do their own research and measurements. They make a nice site with text they find here and there, add a little bit of content and earn money from amazon when you click on an amazon link on their site and buy it.
That's why all are good.

Yes, that actually sounds about right. I will certainly talk to the people in the store when I visit it.

And what about the speakers and the sound system in general?

Oh gosh, I also have seating to consider as well! This is going to last. Grin

Oh, yes, you are completely right.

Then I guess I will have to do everything in person at the store, as far as the equipment is concerned. Unless some of you have any specific suggestions. Happy
