Need help with graphics card

i have an Asus gt 710 graphics card that i want to put in my computer.
the specs: Hp M6N68-la (Narra 3) motherboard, Amd phenom 8650 triple core processor, 8gb of ram, 460w psu and the current graphics card is nvidia geforce gt 130
the issue is that the computer turns on but nothing shows up in the monitor

The GT 710 is so old.

I would not assume it's good. If it's new, arrange for it to be tested or replaced.

Remember that when folk work on such things I will assume you know how to install the cards.

i got the card from my dad few years ago, and has collected dust since because i didn't have computer yet so, next time when i visit. i will test it on the same computer
