You might want to rethink that quad rail unit.
It's not that it won't work but you have to pay attention to the load on each rail.
If it was me I'd shop for a single rail unit.
Hey all, I am building a PC for the first time with roughly a $1100 budget. I wanted to know if this was a good combination for gaming. Essentially I just want the best bang for the buck. Here’s the setup so far:
CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372
Mobo - ASUS Z97-A - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132118
Memory - Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ballistix Sport
Video Card - MSI GeForce GTX 970 GTX 970 GAMING 4G - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127832
Power Supply - Sparkle Power 750W 80Plus Gold - http://mypccase.com/sppor75at23s.html
SSD - SAMSUNG 250GB 850 EVO MZ-75E250B/AM
I plan to run Microsoft Windows 8.1 - Full Version (32 & 64-bit). Any input or modification would be greatly appreciated.
