Need Help With Fingerprint Reader

Hi,
I'm sure I'm being dense but here goes...
I went thru the Digital Persona set up wizard and I'm able to open Windows. I have Vista, BTW.
I'd like to know the step by step procedure for setting it up so I can use it to log onto web sites such as my bank, my ISP, anything I have to log onto to.

Can anyone spell this out for me as if I were a five year old?
I take that back...a five year old probably knows how to do it!>)

Yes, I did that and got as far as being able to open windows. Now, I'm having trouble using the reader to open other sites/programs.

Hello. Why do you need to use your print so often? With my aspire 8920 series, I login with my fingerprint, (vs. password) and thats it. I shut off the fingerprint confirmation when I log on to a website. OS is vista premium. You might want to keep the feature I deleted. Ps. Keep the reader clean with a soft brush. If you provide more info, such as the make/model. The setup on your pc could be different than mine.

I wanted to use it to logon to the many websites I visit. Perhaps I'm not understanding this correctly....
Will it actually open the site or just remember my logon information?
In other words, it will insert my logon info ie: usr name, password, but it doesn't actually open the site. That's why I'm wondering if I'm using it correctly.

Hi again. You are correct about your login info. Each pass protected site you visit is stored, so all you need is your print to logon.
Ps. Make sure your login info is good, as it gets a little messy to straighten out. No big deal though. Have a great weekend! It`s finally beautiful outside. Instead of the saskatchewan deap-freeze
Allmost forgot; On my laptop, with acer bio software, Every pass protected site can be accessed from the print launch window. It doesn`t even need to have a broeser open! You can also choose to opt out and just type in your credentials.Let me know what software you use if you still have problems.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
