That easycap uses a PC to do the work to move the video to the frame.
This is just like a puzzle with missing parts. I see missing parts.
In the meantime why not some LCD display that works with the camera?

Hi, I am trying to do a project with my old digital photo frame. I have a security webcam that uses female av cables. I am trying to put the camera on a a window that sees outside my door and put the digital photo frame in a visible spot where people can see anyone who knocks or rings the doorbell. If you guys know what i am saying. I am trying to make it a live view and it only has a SD card, USB, and micro USB slot. I found a thing that records called easy-cap that goes from USB to female av.i want to put the easy-cap in the digital photo frame and do a live view. I don't need it to record.I just need it for a live view. I just need the digital photo frame to turn it into a monitor with no software on it, how can i take the software out and turn it into a monitor to do a live view of outside my door. If there is no way of doing that then can you give me other ideas. It has to be a DIY thing.
This is my digital photo frame.
