Need Help with Controlling USB Mouse

Jun 30, 2007 3:12PM PDT

I installed the software for a logitech mouse for the mb, but the buttons are not working as they should be. The up, down, and back button works, but the other features don't.

Is this a software problem or does the mac not function well with other products?

What can I do to make it work?

Logitech has had issues for years on the PC. Their software quality seems to know no bounds.

As long as the software you installed was for your version of Mac OS X, it should work.

Take a look at the Read Me and determine if the software if Universal Binary or not. Your Macbook has an Intel processor and requires software to be written specifically for that processor, if it is to run natively.

OS X has support for a two button mouse, without the aid of other software, so even if you did not install any other software, the Left, Right & Scroll would work.

What was Logitech's response when you called them about the non-working software?
