need help with computer

Yesterday my computer for some strange reson kept rearranging my desktop icons. I ran norton antivirus and adaware se and found BroadcastPC and deleted it, but it keeps coming back and my icons still get rearranged. When I checked online to see what Broadcast PC does, it said that it runs ads only, so is there a connection between the two? and how do i get rid of broadcast pc permenantly?

Read and heed.
Look for Ad-aware, and Spybot Search & Destroy.
1. Download both programs
2. Install
3. UPDATE (you must update the programs before
scanning. Look for the globe like update icons.
4. Scan and deleted all that they find.

If this fails to fix the problems, do a Google search for Trend Micro Housecall and do an online scan.

Hope this will do it for you.

I forget to mention that i did also use spybot search and destroy, but it never found Broadcast pc, and there seemed to be no updates for it. When I tried using Trend Micro Housecall with firefox, it said that some file was missing and that i had to download a specific package, but when i tried downloading it, it couldn't find a Netscape browser(since i don't have one). Then when i tried using Internet Explorer, an error kept coming up on that page and it kept shutting off.

find and regedit

1. use the find option to search for all files and folders named BroadcastPC, if you don't have an uninstall option in add\remove programs. Delete them. Reboot and see if they reappear.
2. start>run>"regedit">edit>find>"BroadcastPC. delete entries or subentries only.
I had to do this with one spy that kept putting itself back into PC.
3. If editing registry causes a problem, use ctrl or F8 at boot to get to menu, choose command prompt only,
"scanreg/restore" and choose previous registry to restore.
