Bought one of these at Sams club for $219. Is pn the Pioneer site. So far, it has worked great. Manual is a little confusing, but once you get used to the unit, it is pretty easy to set up and use. It is as easy as a VCR to record shows and very eacy to dub tapes to DVD. From my research, Pioneer and Panasonic are the best brands to stick with. Forget about all the features they advertise. Most are only available when you use either DVD-RW or DVD-RAM depending on the brand you chose. Problem is that you can not view these formats on a regular DVD player. When you use a compatable mode or disk. you lose most of the features. If you are going to play back on this unit only, you are fine and will be able to use the features. Keep in mind that copyrighted
VHS tapes can not ce copied, some are and some are not.
looking to buy a recorder to transfer VHS to DVD best for the least.
