Need help with Belkin router(disconnects)

i have a belkin router and it keeps disconnecting . i will be on and it will kick me off everything wireless in the house(360, wii, macbook and laptop)

it used to do this along time ago and just started doing it again recently

is the router bad, do i need a new one?

firmware update

i figured out i need to update the firmware though i have a problem with that

as stated in the sticky, it says the the site wont list an update when u check for one but i know i need an update since my verision is july 06 and update is sept 06

i downloaded the bin file but it says incorrect image or something

do i have to do anthing with the binary file(extract, etc)

Since the firmware is out of date then it's not up to the forum sticky yet. But keep trying.

If I knew the exact make+model+VERSION and the file (link please) I might be able to comment but I won't given only this so far.

There is also an issue of disconnects when P2P software is used. Be sure you are not chasing that issue.

i changed the security to from wpa/wpa 2 to wep

maybe it wasnt supported, if this still messes up then its the router
