Need help with a Belkin Pre-N Router

Alright, here is the situation. I have used a Microsoft 500N wireless router for a while now and decided to get a new Belkin Pre-N router a few weeks ago. When I set it up, I was able to log-in to my hotmail account when I was connected to the Belkin router with an ethernet cable. However, when I connected to it wirelessly, I am not able to log-in to my hotmail account. Why can't I log in? What can I do?
