If you want to use the video feature, you should avoid the Z850. They changed something and people are complaining about the video.
There is very little customer feedback so far.
Here is a comparison of specifications:

I have been looking for a new digital camera. I am looking for a compact camera digital camera takes great pictures and easy to use so my wife can use it. I have narrowed it down to the Canon SD 700 IS and the Casio EX-Z850. They have both received great reviews from what I have read. So I am looking for info from current users of these cameras. The only advantage I give is to the Casio and that is because the price is running $100 cheaper. Is the Canon worth the extra money? The Canon does have the image stabilizer. Any info will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
