But we followed the CNet advice in the Cnet networking forum about settings. We also know how to connect 2 routers up from the sticky at the Cnet networking forum.
If I were to note makes and models I'll note these:
Look at the dlr-655 review as well as the WNDR3700.
Currrently I have broadband via Road Runner and a wired LinkSys router to connect our computers. I am extremely pleased with this setup but my wife wants to get a Blu-Ray DVD player with WiFi to stream netflix. In starting to research this, it would appear I have to get a wireless router to 'talk' to the Blu-Ray player, and it has to be a 'good' one, not something I'd pick up at WalMart. I have two questions:
1) Does anyone have specific recommendations for a wireless router for streaming movies to a DVD player? Hopefully specific model names and numbers can be supplied, otherwise for me it's like looking for a specific blade of grass in my lawn.
2) Is it possible to have two routers daisy-chained? I want to primarily use my existing wired router for every-day, and only use the wireless when straming a movie. Is this feasible?
Many thanks in advance. Herb
