Need help to choose between LN46a650 & Sony KDL46W4100

Need some help to choose between Samsung LN46a650 and SONY KDL46W4100.

I'm getting Sony for $1,299 (which is an excellet price) and the best current price for the Samsung is $1,499. I've read the CNet review and it speaks quite highly of the Samsung 650 series. So the question is, is Samsung really that better than SONY for that price.

My main criteria is picture quality. I don't care that much about the USB connection and other frills. I've seen both the sets side-by-side in the Best Buy store running where they run the 720i demo feed. I can't tell much difference, they booth look very good. However; Samsung good very good blacks. But the review says even SONY W series has good blacks. But the review does say, the SONY's Picture accuracy and color separation is not good as Samsung. Also; I like the SONY's TV guide feature as I want to get all the off the air HD stations. It does a very good job on the TV guide feature.

I've been a very loyal SONY customer from the Trintron days and SONY's design is always very good. Hate Samsung's remote.

Please provide input as i have to make a decision in next couple of days.
