Here in the USA it is almost unbelievable (to some) that as part of the food supply you are now subject to a Homeland Security audit as well as inspections from your local air quality authority.

The site you linked didn't warn you about these areas so let's just say they are selling you some goods.

You're exaggerating

I'm in the food business and am not subject to local air quality or a homeland security audit. I have to have a grease collecting hood and fire extinguishing system, but that falls under the fire department.

The internet site referenced is probably a scam and won't tell you anything you won't learn from a "starting your own small business" class from the small business administration at a nominal cost. Take a baking class at the local community college to learn about commercial equipment.

A bakery business is like any other business. It comes down to a good business plan and following or amending the plan when needed. You need to know who is going to buy your product and how you get them to do that.

People think if they can cook, they can start a food business. Cooking is a very small part of it. You can bake the very best bread in town, but if no one knows it, you won't make it. Your cupcakes can be wonderful, but if you can't comply with the sales tax collector, the unemployment office, the social security administration, the health department, pay your rent, hire decent employees who will show up, etc., it makes no difference. You won't make it.

It's about running a business and that's not easy. But you could get rich or just make a living doing something you like doing.

Take the SBA class.

SoCal, USA. I'm not exaggerating that Homeland Security guidelines were mandates and the http://www.aqmd.gov/ SoCal AQMD is here too.

Count your blessings you are not here.
