Sorry, but due to limits imposed by the FCC there are limits on the power out of WIFI routers and WAPs. So you have to install the main wifi router, see where the signal is too low and then run some ethernet to soem WAP to fill in that space.
Hope this helps you understand this.
HI, I have a dell 4800 desktop and two Acer 1460 laptops. I want to create my very first wireless network and need help choosing the right wireless route. Please remember that I live in a concrete house and need to have a fair signal through the walls.
I have read so many threads but fine that all are crap, persons are not replying with a simple straight answer. I?m considering either of the following, linksys, netgear or dlink. I really respect cisco (linksys) but a least 90% of the persons in the previous threads I have read do not recommend this router. My internal wireless card on the laptop, which are the ones using the wireless, supports both wireless g/b but my real concern is range and good signal through concrete walls.
I am an online college student and sometimes I study outside or on my roof.
