For me, I want the 15 inch models. HP is never an option because they lost me over their inability to correct product flaws. More at http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/laptop-buying-advice/#post-da7ca992-025a-4773-9086-f1d443e405ef
There is always something about today's PCs that folk complain about. For me I get by just fine but then again I don't use the touchpad. I use a mouse.
The office supplied a 16GB RAM y510p and at 2 years the keyboard wear meant a new 50 buck fix for that. While the office slipped in the new keyboard they changed out the HDD for a SSD. This thing is good as new now. I worry about folk that don't accept there can be some minor repair over the years.
I have been researching new computers to get and wanted some feedback.
Here are my requirements:
16GB RAM
Fast processor
Mainly used for work but lighweight stuff like web, Office Apps and Email.
I've looked at these models but not sure if they are any good:
Dell Precision M3800 (2015)
HP ZBook 15u
Dell Latitude 14 7000 Series (E7450)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
