you can get them back into your fresh installation of Outlook.
You didn't mention what version of Outlook but here is a link that should help you assuming Outlook 2007.

Last week the HD on my desktop running vista home basic stopped working. After some great help here I was able to remove the drive and copy all of the data to an external drive with a USB/SATA adaptor and the Recuva program. At this point it appears that all of my files are intact and safely on the external drive.
My goal is to reinstall the HD to the desktop and do a clean install of Vista and Office to repair the desktop computer. Once I do that is there a way to retrieve the emails that were in Outlook at time of the crash?
