Need help retrieving a possible lost file

I emailed a co-worker a Word document. She opened it (did't save it just opened it), made her changes and additions and clicked Save. She didn't click SaveAs just Save. Then she closed the Word file. Anyway to recover all of her work? Did it save anywhere?? I repeated the process only find that I couldn't find the file saved anywhere on my pc.
Thanks for any help
(WinXp with Word 2003)

More likely than not it is still in her computer.
of the FILE menu. then click on the name of the file
you sent, as it would keep the same. If that doesnt help
