Unless there is more to this story like whole drive encryption.
Under the folder Documents and Settings (read https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/6083.windows-xp-folders-and-locations-vs-windows-7-and-vista.aspx if you have to) that is where the user home folders are.
In most cases you have to take ownership (see google.) Or use a Linux like I noted a few years ago at http://tips.oncomputers.info/archives2004/0401/2004-Jan-11.htm
My boss had a Dell computer (Windows XP) at his office that finally died. He set this computer up with 2 user profiles, one for his assistant(Profile A) and one for him(Profile B). Since the computer will no longer boot up, I've pulled the hard drive and put it in an enclosure to get all the documents and files moved to a new computer, but I can only see the "Profile A" files. Is there any way to access all the other information on this drive without going through the boot/login process? Thanks!
