What Is "touch the around the keys"?

Do you mean if you touch any key? Or when you touch somewhere around the keys on the keyboard?

Have you tried using a USB keyboard to see if the problem is fixed by using such? If a secondary USB keyboard functions correctly, then it's possible the current onboard keyboard is bad and therefore needs replacement.

Hope this helps and let us know more.

If you go to hp.com and click on the chat button you could ask HP.

You are obviously have a problem in doing some obvious ("obvious" only to those of us who have been doing this for a while now) tasks. So, let's see if I can direct you right to the link that when you enter the laptop model number, and you click the (I hope) fairly simple questions, you will be directed to the HP Support person who will chat to you.
